Sometimes it can feel like emotions have been dug up from deep inside during the class and by the end they need to be released. The heat, that gets up to 40 degrees, in the room allows students to work deeply into their muscles. Many emotions are buried and held deep in our muscles. Stretching and holding these poses repeatedly allows the same muscles to be worked at deeper and deeper levels.
Meditation is a natural complement to yoga. It allows openings to occur and emotions to be released. Essentially, mediation is the reconstruction of energy, while yoga is the deconstruction.
The whole experience is very enjoyable.
